You dream of seeing your creation in print.

Ever since you were little, you wanted to see your drawings, your writings, available in the store. You wanted your grandma to call you up, raving about your newest book.

So how do you get there?

First off, remember that this is a business. It’s great to write or draw because you love it, but once you start trying to make money with your passion, you’re going to need to think like a business person. You’ll have to draw and write even when you don’t feel like it. Deadlines will loom and your sanity will slowly slip away.

But, sooner or later, you’ll get to hold your book in your hands or meet a total stranger who loves your art.

Soon, you’ll be published.

And it’ll all seem worth it.
